Sintered metal 3.4 mm, rigid design
The SACHS RCS 140 3.4 sintered clutch disc is engineered for uncompromising motorsport use. With a 140 mm diameter and a 3.4 mm friction lining, it delivers an ultra-compact, low-inertia package - ideal for single-seaters, touring cars and rally cars where packaging and weight are critical.
Compared with the RCS variant with a 2.6 mm lining, rotational inertia increases only slightly, while the additional 0.8 mm lining thickness provides a much larger wear reserve and therefore longer service life.
The high-strength sintered friction material ensures maximum thermal stability and reliably transmits high torque even in extreme conditions. In rigid configuration, the clutch engages very directly and enables aggressive launches and lightning-fast engagement at race starts - for maximum performance on track.

The SACHS RCS 140 3.4 sintered clutch disc from ZF Motorsport is the go-to choice for top-tier racing performance. Compared with organic discs, it offers significantly higher thermal stability, higher rpm capability and greater resistance to dirt and oil.
The dedicated sintered friction material delivers a sharp bite for hard launches and instant engagement off the line. It also handles substantially higher torque, making it ideal for high-output race cars.
As a core module of the modular SACHS RCS 140 clutch system, it is perfectly matched to motorsport use - from rally to formula and circuit racing.
SACHS RCS hub
SACHS RCS 140 3.4 motorsport discs are available with different hub profiles precisely matched to the gearbox input shaft. This ensures perfect fit, reliable torque transfer and maximum durability in severe racing conditions.
Hubs are also offered in various lengths (short, medium, long). This allows an optimal fit to the available package space and correct actuation. The modular RCS 140 concept from ZF Motorsport enables a custom-tuned racing clutch with minimal inertia and maximum performance.
