SACHS RCS 200 Clutch Intermediate Plate 003019000380
Intermediate plate (floater) for SACHS RCS 200 multi-plate racing clutches
The SACHS RCS 200 intermediate plate 003019000380 from ZF Motorsport works as a steel floater within the friction pack of 200Â mm RCS multi-plate clutches. It provides bidirectional friction partners for sintered-metal or organic discs and transfers engine torque between the friction discs and the clutch housing. With the additional friction planes, significantly more torque can be handled at the same diameter than with a single-plate clutch.
Made from high-strength steel with precisely finished friction faces, the plate is matched to the geometry of SACHS RCS 200 racing clutches. In combination with the corresponding pressure plate and approved RCSÂ 200 friction discs (sintered-metal or organic), it forms a stiff, thermally robust friction pack with a well-modulated, reproducible characteristic for GT, touring car, and endurance use.
Thanks to the modular RCS platform, intermediate plates can be selectively replaced during overhaul. It is advisable to inspect intermediate plates and friction discs together and renew them as a set when wear or runout limits are exceeded to safeguard torque capacity, pedal feel, and shift precision of the SACHS RCS 200 racing clutch over the long term.

Benefits at a glance:
Additional friction planes for high-torque 200Â mm multi-plate racing clutches
Geometry tuned to the SACHS RCS 200 platform
High-strength steel intermediate plate for high thermal and fatigue resistance
Precisely machined contact faces for a consistent, easily controllable clutch characteristic
Service-friendly module – targeted replacement without changing the clutch housing

Technology
RCS 200 Intermediate Plate
Function: In the SACHS RCS 200 racing clutch, the intermediate plate is positioned between two friction discs. It provides bidirectional friction faces and transfers engine torque from the lined discs to the clutch housing. Multiple intermediate plates – depending on the number of discs – increase torque density without increasing the outer diameter.
Design: High-strength steel with finely finished friction faces, outer drive tabs/teeth for positive guidance in the RCSÂ 200 housing. The design is tailored to the mechanical and thermal loads of passenger-car motorsport and, together with the matching RCSÂ 200 discs, supports a homogeneous wear pattern in the friction pack.
Compatibility: Intermediate plate 003019000380 is intended for approved SACHS RCS 200 multi-plate configurations with sintered-metal or organic linings. Always use with the specified RCSÂ 200 friction discs and matching RCSÂ 200 pressure plate. Non-approved component mixes may significantly alter torque capacity, thermal behavior, and pedal feel.
Service note: During each overhaul, check intermediate plates for runout, thickness, and surface condition. If limits are exceeded or pronounced thermal marks are visible, replace as a set together with the friction discs to restore original performance of the SACHS RCS 200 racing clutch.
