Release Rings SACHS RCS
Since racing clutches are not vehicle-specific, the SACHS RCS clutch from ZF Motorsport must be integrated into the available installation space of the respective car.
To compensate for the axial position of the release bearing or slave cylinder, so-called "release rings" can be mounted on the clutch diaphragm spring of your RCS clutch. Release rings are available in various heights (5.0–30.0 mm).
When using a release ring, a standard OE release bearing with a flat contact surface can be used. Most OE release bearings have a flat contact face, which is why a release ring should always be installed in such cases.
The release rings are suitable for all RCS140, RCS184 and RCS200 clutch housings with one diaphragm spring and a contact diameter of Ø 49 mm.

Installation Notes
When using a release ring, a release bearing with a flat contact face can be fitted. OE release bearings usually have a flat contact surface. Therefore, when an OE release bearing with a flat contact face is used, a release ring should always be installed.
