Sintered metal 2.6 mm, rigid design
SACHS RCS 115 3.4 sintered clutch disc - maximum compactness with extra headroom. The 115 mm diameter minimizes rotating mass and frees packaging space in tight monocoques; the 3.4 mm lining thickness offers noticeably more wear allowance and thermal capacity than 2.6 mm - while maintaining ultra-fast response.
The sintered friction lining is sintered directly onto the carrier plate. This creates a very stiff friction pair with a precise bite point, aggressive launches and lightning-fast engagement. Perfect for single-seaters and prototypes where every gram and millisecond counts.
The 3.4 mm spec hits the sweet spot between weight and durability: low moment of inertia for instant throttle response, plus longer service life and more stable friction than 2.6 mm. Result: reliable torque transfer, consistent performance and reduced service effort.

The SACHS RCS 115 3.4 sintered clutch disc from ZF Motorsport is the ideal choice for maximum performance in racing.
The special sintered friction material delivers an aggressive response with hard launches and snap engagement off the line. At the same time, it transmits significantly higher torque, making it particularly suitable for high-output race cars.
As a core component of the modular SACHS RCS 115 clutch system, it is perfectly matched to professional motorsport - from single-seaters to circuit racing and prototypes.
SACHS RCS hub
SACHS RCS 115 3.4 clutch discs are available with different hub spline profiles, precisely matched to the respective gearbox input shaft. This ensures maximum fit, reliable torque transfer and durability in hard racing use.
RCS 115 clutch discs are offered exclusively with a short hub. The short design minimizes moment of inertia, reduces overall pack length and supports direct, precise actuation - ideal for tight monocoques and weight-optimized builds.
