Organic 7.8 mm, rigid hub
The SACHS RCS 200 with organic friction lining is the right choice when smooth clutch modulation, driveline protection and a consistent pedal feel come first. The large 200 mm diameter provides generous friction area and efficient heat dissipation – ideal for classics, powerful track day and club sport cars that demand consistent performance and maximum drivability.
Compared with sinter-pad variants, the organic lining engages noticeably softer and more predictably. This reduces shock loads, protects gearbox, differential and driveshafts and improves traction off the line and out of slow corners. Noise and vibration are reduced as well, delivering a calmer drivetrain and a repeatable pedal feel over many stints.
The 200 mm diameter compensates for the lower thermal robustness of organic linings versus sinter by offering more friction surface and better heat flow. The clutch remains stable during longer load phases without the aggressiveness of a sintered setup. If you prioritise driver-friendly, tyre-saving torque transfer over maximum launch attack, you benefit from high controllability and consistent modulation.

The SACHS RCS 200 7.8 organic clutch disc from ZF Motorsport is a strong performer for performance driving. Organic is a comparatively compliant lining material – gentle on the transmission, with excellent pedal feel and modulation – yet not aimed at extreme thermal abuse in top-tier racing.
The capable organic lining enables precise throttle-to-clutch control and clean launches at race starts and on track days.
As a core module of the SACHS RCS 200 system it is perfectly matched to motorsport use – from slalom and historic applications to track day cars.
SACHS RCS hub
SACHS RCS 200 7.8 motorsport clutch discs are available with different hub profiles precisely matched to the gearbox input shaft. This ensures maximum fit accuracy, reliable torque transfer and durability under motorsport loads.
Hubs are also offered in various lengths (short, medium, long) to suit packaging and release geometry. The modular RCS 200 concept from ZF Motorsport enables an individually tuned clutch with robust thermal capacity, long life and strong on-track performance.
