Clutch Pressure Ring 003002001929
Wear compensation for SACHS carbon clutch RCC 140
Consistent performance over the full service life: the ZF Motorsport SACHS RCC 140 pressure ring 003002001929 compensates wear of the carbon clutch pack and restores the original diaphragm-spring kinematics. This keeps the torque capacity of the 140 mm carbon racing clutch stable across service intervals and maintains an optimal torque window with a clean pedal feel and repeatable clamp load.
For precise service setups, pressure rings are available in fine 0.25 mm steps. This lets you set each clutch exactly to the measured wear level—for maximum performance and durability in racing use.

Key benefits
Stable torque capacity
Longer carbon stack life
Fine-step adjustment
Top manufacturing quality
Service-friendly

Technology
Pressure ring RCC 140
Function: targeted wear compensation of the carbon stack by adjusting the fulcrum/clamp dimension at the clutch base plate. If the permissible wear limit is exceeded, torque capacity drops quickly—slip, heat build-up and excessive release travel may result. The pressure ring corrects installed height precisely and restores the original kinematics.
Steps: 0.25 mm increments for exact restoration of installation height.
Material: high-strength tempered steel, burnished, for improved temperature and load-cycle resistance.
Quality standard: manufactured to ZF Motorsport specification; tight run-out and thickness tolerances.
Practice / installation notes
Measure stack height: determine carbon pack (friction and intermediate plates); measuring points per series specification.
Target/actual check: use the SACHS RCC 140 wear table; the difference defines the required pressure-ring step.
Ring selection: choose the SACHS RCC 140 pressure ring so that installation height is within target; avoid over-compensation.
Observe the permissible wear limit. If exceeded, replace the carbon pack—ring change alone is not sufficient.
