Clutch Carbon Pack 003074000310
Replacement friction pack for SACHS carbon racing clutch RCC 3/184
The RCS 3/184 carbon pack, consisting of three friction discs and four intermediate plates, restores the nominal carbon stack thickness (stack height) and the correct kinematics of the diaphragm spring. On RCC 184, the base plate is available in several build heights; wear compensation is achieved by selecting the appropriate base plate and pressure ring. This keeps torque capacity, pedal feel and clamp load consistent throughout the entire service interval. Install the carbon pack once the available wear compensation has been fully used.

Key benefits
Stable torque capacity at target stack
F1-grade carbon quality
Repeatable clamp load, clean pedal feel
Low mass/inertia, high thermal robustness
Top manufacturing quality, minimal tolerances

Technology
Carbon pack RCC 184
Replace the worn carbon friction pack on RCC 3/184 clutches once the wear limit is reached or if wear is uneven. After installation, set the exact stack height using the correct base plate and pressure ring; incorrect (too early/too thick) base-plate or ring steps will cause malfunction.
Practice / installation notes
Measure stack height: determine the carbon pack (friction and intermediate plates) using RCC 184 series measuring points.
Ring selection: when replacing the carbon pack, use a new reference pressure ring to restore the intended wear-in/stack geometry.
Base plate inspection: at each overhaul check run-out, surface and thickness; replace together with the new pressure ring if required.
Functional check: after assembly verify release travel/clearance; misadjustment leads to slip and heat.
