The SACHS RCS 115 2.6 sintered-metal clutch disc from ZF Motorsport is a no-compromise lightweight race solution. With just 115 mm diameter - the smallest RCS format and closest in concept to modern Formula 1 clutches - it delivers ultra-low rotating mass, razor-sharp response and maximum packaging freedom in tight single-seater monocoques.
The sintered friction layer is directly sintered onto the carrier plate. This creates a very stiff friction pair with a precise bite point, aggressive launch characteristics and lightning-fast engagement - perfect for formula cars and prototypes where every gram and millisecond count.
The 2.6 mm lining keeps inertia to an absolute minimum, supports rapid engine spin-up and eases synchro load during shifts. The high-temperature sintered material remains stable under extreme friction energy and transmits torque reliably - ideal for short, intense duty cycles.

SACHS RCS hub
SACHS RCS 115 2.6 discs are available with precisely matched hub profiles for the specific gearbox input shaft - ensuring perfect fit, reliable torque transfer and durability in hard racing use.
RCS 115 discs are supplied exclusively with a short hub. The short design minimises inertia, reduces total clutch pack length and supports a direct, precise actuation - ideal for tight monocoques and uncompromising lightweight builds.
