Motorsport Hydraulic Release Bearing Kit 883000001125 (CSC)
Pre-assembled CSC kit with adapter for SACHS RCS, Tilton and AP Racing racing clutches
The SACHS RCS CSC kit 883000001125 from ZF Motorsport is a pre-assembled hydraulic release bearing kit for modular racing clutches. It combines the base CSC 883182000033 with a matching adapter to precisely adjust the axial position of the release bearing relative to the clutch.
The kit is suitable for motorsport applications with SACHS RCS racing clutches and, with the correct design layout, also for Tilton and AP Racing clutches. The decisive factors are release diameter, stroke, installed height, available space inside the bellhousing and the required bearing position relative to the respective clutch.
Unlike the individual motorsport CSC, the CSC kit is supplied already with adapter and the required mounting screws. This makes it especially suitable for installation situations where clutch, flywheel and gearbox require a defined axial height adjustment.

Technology
CSC kit with adapter
Function: The SACHS RCS CSC kit 883000001125 from ZF Motorsport actuates the racing clutch hydraulically via a hydraulic release bearing arranged concentrically around the gearbox input shaft. The adapter positions the unit axially relative to the clutch and helps compensate height differences between clutch, flywheel and gearbox.
Base CSC: The kit is assigned to base CSC 883182000033. This preserves the hydraulic release function of the motorsport CSC, while the adapter geometry defines the correct installed position for this kit version.
Compatibility: The kit can be used in motorsport setups with SACHS RCS, Tilton or AP Racing clutches, provided release diameter, stroke, clutch height, flywheel, gearbox and installation space match.
Pre-assembly: The CSC kit is supplied as a prepared unit including mounting screws. This reduces the setup effort compared with an individually assembled combination of hydraulic release bearing, adapter and fixing hardware.
Working range: With 15.0 mm stroke, the kit is designed for applications requiring a defined release reserve. X indicates release travel, Y the wear travel according to the CSC kit drawing.
Installation space: The maximum permissible outside diameter of the gearbox input shaft is 32.5 mm. Line routing, port position, clearance and bleedability must also be considered during planning.
Difference from the motorsport CSC
Base CSC or CSC kit?
Base CSC 883182000033: The individual motorsport hydraulic release bearing is the pure hydraulic release unit. It is used when mounting pattern, installed height and bearing position already match the existing clutch and gearbox combination.
CSC kit 883000001125: The kit adds an adapter to the base CSC. This allows the axial position of the release bearing to be adjusted precisely without having to design a separate adapter solution.
Racing clutches: In addition to SACHS RCS clutches, the kit can also be used for matching Tilton and AP Racing clutches. The technical clutch layout must always match the kit geometry and hydraulic working range.
Selection: The decisive factors are clutch version, flywheel, gearbox, release diameter, stroke, installed height and available space inside the bellhousing. The kit is not a universal standard solution, but a defined combination of hydraulic release bearing and adapter.
Geometry & dimensions
Dimension system & working travel
The geometry of the SACHS RCS CSC kit 883000001125 is defined by adapter dimensions, release diameter and working range. The drawing shows the kit-specific section view and front view of this version.
A: 64.7 mm
B: 54.0 mm
C: 38.0 mm release diameter
X: 7.5 mm release travel
Y: 7.5 mm wear travel
Stroke: 15.0 mm stroke
These dimensions refer exclusively to the technical drawing and table of the CSC kit. They are used to coordinate clutch, gearbox, adapter position and available installation space.

Mounting pattern
Contour & ports
The contour drawing shows the front view of the CSC kit 883000001125 with mounting pattern and hydraulic port positions. This information is important for line routing, bleedability and installation clearance inside the bellhousing.
DASH 3 bleeding / purge: separate port for proper bleeding of the system.
DASH 4 pressure port: port for hydraulic actuation of the release bearing.
Port position: The defined port arrangement with TOP reference point makes it easier to check whether lines, fittings and bleed port can be installed without collision in the available space.
Practical use: In tight motorsport installation situations, access to the ports is just as important as the axial position. The contour drawing supports selection and correct alignment of the kit.

Installation notes
Installation & design
Measurement: Before installation, clutch, flywheel, gearbox and CSC kit must be checked together. Adapter dimensions A and B as well as X/Y must match the required bearing position and available installation space.
Release diameter: Release diameter C is 38.0 mm and must match the SACHS RCS, Tilton or AP Racing racing clutch used.
Stroke: The kit has 15.0 mm stroke. The hydraulic release bearing must not be driven mechanically to its stop during operation.
Gearbox input shaft: The outside diameter of the gearbox input shaft must not exceed 32.5 mm. Clearance, centring and line routing must be checked before final installation.
Hydraulics: Pedal travel, master cylinder, line routing and hydraulic volume must be matched to the clutch and CSC kit. Complete bleeding is required for consistent function and reproducible pedal feel.
Inspection: Check bearing, sealing system, adapter, mounting screws and contact faces regularly. In case of leakage, wear, stiff actuation or implausible pedal travel, the complete actuation system must be assessed.
