The modern BMW 6 Series (E63/E64 from 2004, F12/F13 from 2011) continued the E24's grand tourer tradition with contemporary design and cutting-edge technology. The 650i with the N62 4.8-litre V8 and 270 kW (E63/E64) or the N63 4.4-litre twin-turbo V8 (F12/F13) was the flagship of the standard 6 Series range with effortless grand touring performance. Both generations offered the combination of typical BMW driving dynamics and elegant long-distance comfort as coupe and convertible.
