The BMW 5 Series F10/F11 (2010–2016) returned to a more conservative design after the polarising E60, focusing on lightweight construction with aluminium chassis components. The 535i with the N55 3.0-litre turbocharged inline-six and 225–240 kW was the ideal model for drivers seeking powerful propulsion with six-cylinder refinement. The G30/G31 from 2016 continued this philosophy with even more lightweight technology and cutting-edge driver assistance.
