The BMW 3 Series E9x generation (2005–2013) continued the tradition of the sportiest saloon, sharpest coupé and most elegant convertible in the segment with the E90, E92 and E93. The 318i with its four-cylinder petrol engine offered an affordable entry to the E9x world with the full BMW driving experience. Even with four-cylinder engines, the E9x platform delivered a driving experience that defined the class standard.
