The 120d with its four-cylinder diesel producing up to 190 PS was the best-selling 1 Series engine — efficient and surprisingly dynamic. Even with four-cylinder engines, the 1 Series delivered a driving experience that led the class, thanks to its sporty suspension and direct steering.
