The SACHS Racing Clutch is the ideal solution for motorsport use and for extremely performance-enhanced vehicles - Simple replacement for your old clutch, the standard flywheel is still used with the performance clutch kit 002548.000051C.

EXTREME RESILIENCE
The SACHS racing clutch is characterised, among other things, by a significantly higher transmittable torque, greater insensitivity to thrust loads and very high thermal load capacity compared to a standard clutch.

CLUTCH PRESSURE PLATE
The SACHS Performance clutch pressure plate is firmly bolted to the flywheel and, when engaged, transmits the engine torque to the clutch disc via the housing, the tangential leaf springs and the pressure plate.
Decisive factors for the design of the clutch pressure plate are the heat capacity of the pressure plate and the pressure and release force of the diaphragm spring. The diaphragm spring of the SACHS Performance pressure plate guarantees a high transmittable engine torque thanks to its shape, material and sporty characteristics.
Clutch disc
The SACHS Racing clutch disc with sinter-pad clutch lining is thermally highly resilient, higher rpm resistance and has a higher coefficient of friction than conventional, organic clutch linings. This makes it possible to start the vehicle harder, i.e. abrupt clutch engagement. In addition, the sintered metal clutch lining is particularly resistant to dirt and oil.
The torsion-sprung SACHS Racing clutch disc included in clutch kit 002548.000051C dampens engine vibration and protects your vehicle's transmission. SACHS Racing spring-loaded clutch discs are equipped with stronger torsion dampers in order to be able to transmit a higher maximum engine torque.
