The Fiat Barchetta — Italian for 'little boat' — is a purist roadster that offered carefree driving fun from 1995 with its 1.8 16V engine and 130 PS. With its Chris Bangle-designed wedge shape and sharp creases in the bonnet, the Coupe was one of the most striking vehicles of the 1990s. As one of the few front-wheel-drive roadsters, the Barchetta proved that pure driving pleasure doesn't require a rear-wheel-drive architecture.
