The BMW 3 Series E9x generation (2005–2013) continued the tradition of the sportiest saloon, sharpest coupé and most elegant convertible in the segment with the E90, E92 and E93. The 320d with its four-cylinder diesel producing up to 184 PS was the best-selling engine in the E9x — efficient and surprisingly dynamic. Even with four-cylinder engines, the E9x platform delivered a driving experience that defined the class standard.
