SACHS Performance Clutch for Audi V8 (4C) 3.6 quattro (184kW ; 10/88 - 07/91) – Engine Code: PT
For your Audi V8 (4C) with 3.6 quattro (184kW ; 10/88 - 07/91) engine (, engine code: PT), we offer genuine SACHS Performance clutch components in OE quality. All parts are specifically developed for the PT engine and ensure direct bolt-on fitment.
As Audi's very first V8 car, the V8 (4C) broke into the BMW and Mercedes domain from 1988 and proved with two consecutive DTM titles in 1990 and 1991 that quattro all-wheel drive could be superior in touring car racing too. The 3.6-litre V8 with 250 PS was the original engine of the V8 and the powerplant with which Hans-Joachim Stuck won the 1990 DTM title — the first quattro triumph in touring car racing. The galvanized steel body — not aluminium as in the later A8 — provided excellent corrosion protection and contributed to the solid foundation of this rarity built only 21,565 times.
