The Audi A4 B7 from 2004, as a revised B6, introduced the new TFSI engine technology combining turbocharging with petrol direct injection. In DTM racing, the Audi A4 dominated from 2004 to 2011, claiming championship titles in 2004, 2007, 2008, 2009, and 2011.
