The BMW 5 Series F10/F11 (2010–2016) offered a more conservative design after the polarising E60, with aluminium lightweight construction and cutting-edge technology. The 518d with 100–105 kW was the most economical F10 in the range, aimed at cost-conscious fleet managers and high-mileage drivers. The diesel variants benefited from BMW's EfficientDynamics strategy, offering outstanding efficiency with full driving comfort.
