Il Volano bimassa Audi S5 Quattro 8T - OE 0B3105266C trasmette la coppia del motore allo spingidisco e al disco della frizione, riducendo le irregolarità torsionali introdotte nella trasmissione.

Livelli di coppia più elevati, pressioni di accensione maggiori e controlli più severi sulle emissioni causano irregolarità rotazionali sempre maggiori nei motori odierni e, di conseguenza, livelli più elevati di vibrazioni nella catena cinematica. I maggiori requisiti di comfort e silenziosità e le maggiori misure di protezione della trasmissione richiedono smorzatori di vibrazioni torsionali estremamente efficienti.

Il volano a doppia massa 415.0482.10D convince per il design modulare della molla di compressione che offre una soluzione ai vari problemi di vibrazioni torsionali del veicolo. Con l'aggiunta di uno smorzatore adattabile al numero di giri, le vibrazioni torsionali causate dal motore a combustione interna vengono disaccoppiate in modo eccellente.

La tecnologia

 

Il volano a doppia massa è installato tra il motore e la trasmissione, insieme al coperchio della frizione e al disco della frizione.

Il volano è composto da una massa primaria e una secondaria, collegate da un set di molle lubrificate. La massa primaria è imbullonata all'albero motore e trasporta la corona dentata di avviamento. Le masse primaria e secondaria sono montate in modo da poter ruotare indipendentemente. Il set di molle ha un design modulare, che consente di variare e ottimizzare le curve caratteristiche.

Tutti i volani presentano una curva caratteristica a più stadi. Il primo stadio utilizza molle morbide per garantire prestazioni eccellenti di avviamento e arresto del motore dell'auto. Il secondo stadio ha molle più rigide per garantire un eccellente disaccoppiamento delle vibrazioni torsionali durante le normali operazioni di guida.
